Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures **Essential Responsibilities** * Manufacturing engineering tasks, primarily tactical responsibilities. * Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent. * Works together with people from the business unit. * Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues. * Communicates with direct team and supervisor. * Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research. **Qualifications/Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college * At least 3 additional years of experience in Industrial Engineering * Fluent english **Desired Characteristics** • Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality is preferred • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred (GE employees only) • Executive level presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas • Responsible for meeting customer/business needs as well as developing direct reports • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
