The Facebook Employment Law team is looking for a talented, driven and highly organized professional to manage a wide range of Employment Law-related projects including those involving investigations, administrative charges, trainings, and policies. This person should have an ability to organize large amounts of sensitive material into a digestible and understandable format for non-lawyer consumption. This person should also have the ability to develop project timelines, and influence stakeholder buy-in to complete large-scale projects on time. The ideal candidate should exhibit the ability to think analytically while maintaining a high-level of confidentiality and organization in a fast-paced environment. This role will be focused on driving consistency across the Employment Law team, work with key cross-functional partners, developing and managing a document management system, and tracking overall reporting and metrics.


  • Organize and update legal templates (offer letters, confidentiality agreements, termination letters, etc.)
  • Act as Employment Law point of contact for projects involving audit, finance, facilities and other cross-functional partners
  • Organize and edit training materials generated out of the Employment Law team
  • Organize a document management system for Employment Law use
  • Help generate metrics/analytics to track efficiency and consistency on the Employment Law team
  • Triage internal inquiries to the appropriate attorney and fielding limited questions
  • Assist with annual handbook review and global handbook updates
  • Prepare chronologies and other organizational materials for high profile HR matters involving the employment law team
  • Conduct limited legal research
  • Assist in document review
  • Occasional note-taking on investigation matters


  • 3+ years of HR or legal experience preferred with experience in employee relations or employment law
  • Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Ability to interact with all levels of a professional organization
  • Ability to work independently and require little instruction on the day-to-day work
  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday (or alternate HRIS system) is strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skill including proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Strong Excel skills including the ability to create pivot reports, vlookups, and charts/graphs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal direction
  • Preferred experience with vendor tracking and management, including holding vendors to SLAs
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals
